 Rules and Regulation

Membership
•A.     Applicants must pay a $20 joining fee to become a member. (Revised 11/09)
•B.     Fee must be paid prior to fishing first tournament.
•C.     Applicant must attend a meeting prior to fishing a tournament and be sponsored by a club member. 
•D.    There is no joining fee for an applicant who is 15 years old and younger.
 
Tournaments
•A.     There shall be seven (7) tournaments and one (1) Classic tournament per year.
•B.     Tournaments will be restricted to Saturdays, except for the year end Classic. (Revised 11/9)
•C.     Tournament entry fees are $60 per boat which includes a $10 big fish money pot.
•D.    Blast-off order will be as follows: 
             The first tournament of each year will be by the number-draw method. 
             After the first tournament, the below method will apply.
            First blast-off will be the previous tournament winner.
            Second blast-off will be the second place team from previous tournament,
            This will continue till all previous places are filled (teams must weigh fish to place).
             Teams not having a blast-off number will be determined by section "E" below. 
•E.      Teams may register and pay before or at the meeting for the next tournament. Blast-off order 
           will be drawn at the meeting for those teams who attend the meeting and do not have a blast-off 
           number  due to placement in the last tournament.   All other teams will receive a blast-off 
           number on a first come basis at the tournament site.
 
Classic Tournament
•A.     All applicants must register (pay) for four (4) regular tournaments to qualify for the year-end 
          Classic tournament. Payment must be made before the start of each tournament. The Classic 
         does not count as a regular tournament.  
•B.    The year end Classic tournament site will be determined by placing all tournament sites 
          scheduled in that tournament year into a hat (last years Classic site will not be included in the 
         drawing) and the Tournament director will  draw the Classic site from the hat. This will take 
         place at the August meeting. (Revised 11/9)
•C.    Classic blast-off and ending times will be determined at the meeting prior to the Classic 
         tournament. (Revised 11/9)
 
Meetings
•A.     Meetings are on the Monday prior to a tournament.    Check website CCBass.org
•B.     Meetings location will be at Deno's Pizza Palace at the corner of Hwy 301 and Grove Street.
 
Awards
•A.     Tournament Pay Back
      1st  60% of tournament fees   
      2nd  20% of tournament fees
      3rd  10% of tournament fees
        10% of fees will be held out for the years Classic Tournament. 
        Big fish money is 100% payback.
 •B.   Club Point Champion will receive $200 (to be given out after the September tournament). 
         (Tie breaker will  be decided by the largest fish weighed during the year among tied members).
•C.     Classic payback includes $60 Classic entry fee + 10% of all tournament fees collected.  
       1st  70% of tournament fees   
       2nd  20% of tournament fees
       3rd  10% of tournament fees
 
Termination of Membership
•A.     Membership can be cancelled for misconduct of any kind determined by club officials.
•B.     A dismissed member will forfeit any monies paid prior to dismissal.
 
Tournament Rules
•A.      Abide by all laws of the area where the tournament takes place.
•B.      All fish must be officially weighed and only legal size fish can be weighed for that areas being 
           fished. Largemouth bass, Spotted bass and Smallmouth bass will be accepted.
 
•C.      Any person fishing in a club sponsored event will conduct themselves in an orderly and safe 
          manner.
•D.      All members will be at the ramp before the end of check-in time. All late arrivals will be put at 
           the end of blast-off order.
•E.      Live wells checks will be done at check-in.
 
•F.      It is the responsibility of late arrivals to locate and check-in with the tournament director. A 
           live wells check will be done at that time.
 
•G.      All tournament participants (teams) must be at the weigh-in site (inside the no wake zone) at 
           the scheduled tournament ending time. Late arrivals will incur a one (1) pound per minute 
           penalty, and totally disqualified after 15 minutes. (Revised 11/9)
•H.      In the event of a tie, the largest fish weighed by the tied teams will decide the winner. If still 
          tied, the teams next largest fish weighed will break the tie. (Revised 11/9)
•I.      B.A.S.S. rules apply with these provisions:
          •1.     Life vest and kill switches (if equipped) must be in use while the boat is on Plane.
           •2.     No fishing poles over 8' feet in length during a tournament.
           •3.     No live bait can be used and not in boat during a tournament.
           •4.    Landing nets will be permitted.
            •5.     Trailing is not permitted. 
•J.  Modification of these rules can be done only by a majority vote of our member or by club officials.
•K.  Rules will be strictly enforced, and Tournament Chairman decisions are final.
•L.   Angler of the Year will be determined by total pounds accrued . (Revised 11/9)
•M. Pounds will be accrued by the following method: (Revised 11/9)
       1.  One (1) pound will be given to each team for attending the monthly meeting. (Revised 11/9)
       2.  One (1) pound will be given for registration (payment) for a tournament. (Revised 11/9)
       3.  Total pounds weighed at a tournament. (Revised 11/9)
•N.  Teams are set at the first tournament fished. Teams must fish together as a team. If a member 
        fishes with any other member, this is considered a NEW TEAM. Only teams can collect pounds. 
•O.  Penalties for short fish will be loss of the short fish and two (2) pounds deducted from the    
        remaining weight weighed.
